I had no previous knowledge of Ethos but it certainly makes sense. I recall developing my voice through listening to people around converse and reading a variety of authors’ works. Then, I would consider what way of writing would work best in the given situation and apply it. With logos and pathos, I’ve never much considered how I am making the reader feel, but I know I should. Your saying that more than the basic mathematical principles is indeed true, and I feel the same way for all parts of existence and the mind. These posts will probably influence me to write a bit more for the reader’s mind than my own.
